We are delighted to welcome everybody who loves swinging jazz to our friendly festival in the centre of Oslo! We have gathered Oslo's best jazz musicians, and booked the most stylish venues in town. For dancers we offer a big dance floor, and for non-dancers we offer café seating and a well-stocked bar.

Guitarist Henrik Haugen hand-picked a band with some of the very best of the new generation of Norwegian jazz musicians. The average age of this band is only about 23, but they have all already established themselves on the Norwegian scene. They play with energetic musicality and a strong sense of swing. With the unusual lineup of vibraphone, guitar, piano, bass and drums, this will be an exciting and unpredictable glimpse into the future of swing jazz in Norway.

Skinner Swing Five are one of the foremost swing bands in Norway, and have played at jazz clubs and dance festivals in both Norway and Sweden. Led by pianist David Arthur Skinner, the members of the band have one shared goal: to swing so hard that nobody in the room can sit still. This will be a great finish to the Friday night party!

New Orleans Workshop is Norway's oldest jazz club, and we are very happy to present a band comprised of some of their very best musicians! This will be a concert with high-quality traditional jazz and swing, performed by highly-respected elder statesmen of the Norwegian scene, led by the renowned jazz- and ragtime-pianist Morten Gunnar Larsen.

Kristoffer Kompen is a versatile and imaginative trombonist who has been involved in projects covering pretty much all jazz styles and beyond. Together with David Skinner on piano, and Hermund Nygård on drums, he presents a relaxed, intimate concert, with mainly slow and medium swing and blues, featuring telepathic group interplay. This will be one for jazz connoisseurs, and dancers who especially enjoy Slow Lindy, Slow Balboa and Blues styles.

Jazzombies are the best-known swing ensemble in Oslo. Anyone who has been to Norway's main Lindy Hop festival, Winter Jump, will know that Jazzombies has been the house band for the last 13 years, and they always deliver varied, entertaining and powerful swing. This will be a fantastic culmination of the Saturday night party!
